I downloaded Macross Frontier Music Clip Shuu Nyankuri, and it includes a flac Mka audio file which the above two did not have.
I dont know if it was my setting that cause this problem or The flac Mka files are needed.

Yea, you need re-work your codec package. It is kind wired, but it sure works. Try serach some updated codec package.

最简单的方法：直接换个最新版的Potplayer……
麻烦一点：将mkv分离器设置为Gabest，音频解码器设置为FFDShow，最后配置一下TrueHD启用libavcodec。
