Because why not? If better audio quality is available, then they'll take it. Read the About-Tab on the menu please.

various reasons, the main is that many audio chips supports hardware decoding of that somehow w/ the "better" (or the "other" at least) quality than the flac even though they both lossless formats. Hardware decode gives some "warm tone" to the sound or smth like that :3

Source of Toradora isn't that good, can't do a good 1080p release, so I think they will be doing 720p/576p release.

Nice decision for making this anime. Kuroi-raws release was good, but now we can have it with better script, encoded in 10bits.

I've been waiting for Tora Dora BDrip since last summer before its even out, really looking forward XD
Please consider 1080p release or at least 720p.

Извлекаете аудиодорожку mkvextract-ом, перекодируете eac3to, собираете обратно mkvmerge.
